It's not as hard as you might imagine; I provide two wax ring bases, a lab grown gemstone, a tool for carving and some soft wax that you can mould with your hands. You just get to do the fun part, working with the wax! Don't stress because if you make any mistakes that affect the integrity of the ring, I will fix them before sending the ring off to be cast in silver.
Working with wax is so fun and forgiving; if you make a mistake just roll the brown wax up into a ball or run a flame over the blue wax. You'll have three months to work on your ring, to get it just right if you're a perfectionist.
Once I receive your wax ring back, I will do the hard part. I'll make sure your ring is stable, add the gemstone and resize it to your size. Then I'll cast it in solid 925 sterling silver! I'll then remove the sprue and polish it, and it'll be finished. I'll then post it back to you and you'll have a special piece of jewellery to pass on through generations, that you made yourself.
If you'd like your ring to be cast in gold, reach out to me and we can make this work. Bear in mind the cost of gold is significantly (!) higher than silver.
This kit includes:
2 wax ring bases (only one will become silver, the other can be a practise run/backup)
mouldable wax for you to add to the ring
metal tool for carving/shaping

ring sizer + paper for you to write your size
access to tutorial videos if you need help or guidance
